WOULD YOU CONSIDER THIS VALLEY ‘S “BEST” AUTO SALES?

Our client alleges that on June 26, 2022, he went to Valley’s Best Auto Sales in Reseda, in Los Angeles County, looking to purchase a reliable used car for his personal and family use.  Valley’s Best Auto Sales salesperson showed him a 2011 Chrysler 300C. Valley’s Best told our client it was providing a 30-day warranty with Valley’s Best Auto being 100% liable if any engine or transmission problems developed. Additionally, Valley’s Best Auto Sales sold our client a service contract for over $1,300 (Valley’s Best misrepresented it as a “warranty” and deliberately left it off the sale contract.) After all the paperwork was done our client drove the 2011 Chrysler home and the next day it had engine problems. Our client had to have his 2011 Chrysler 300C towed back to Valley’s Best Auto Sales (60 miles) for repairs. After being told the Chrysler was repaired, our client went to pick it up.  The car immediately misfired. This 2011 Chrysler continued to have problems, but Valley’s Best Auto Sales kept telling our client nothing was wrong with it.

Long story short, our client had to pay to get the 2011 Chrysler 300C diagnosed and the service contact company told him he would have to have the engine torn-down, before it would tell him if it would cover any repairs. The service contact company ended up telling him the vehicle’s problems were not covered and our client would be responsible for all costs. Our client took the 2011 Chrysler to a repair shop and had the engine torn down. Our client further alleges it was found, among other problems, that the camshaft showed excessive wear. The service contract company told our client that it believed it had been in that condition longer than our client owned the vehicle. When our client contacted Valley’s Best Auto Sales about what was found, Valley’s Best told our client it was not its problem. The law firm of Rosner, Barry & Babbitt is filing a lawsuit to a get our client’s money back and for Valley’s Best to take-back the Chrysler 300C.
