After the diesel scandal, you would think that Volkswagen would have learned its lesson. Volkswagen just confirmed that it sold thousands of pre-production vehicles – that is cars that were never meant for the road. These vehicles were used for development and are full of flaws and differences from the actual production model vehicles. Unfortunately, Volkswagen didn’t document the differences between the pre-production vehicles sold and the end product, so there is no way of knowing if these vehicles meet safety standards or if the vehicles are even safe to drive.
