Our client purchased a 2017 Honda CR-V from Long Beach Honda in December 2019. Our client alleges the Vehicle was advertised and sold as a Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle (CPO). However, a few weeks later, the vehicle began having mechanical problems. Our client took the vehicle back to Long Beach Honda to have the vehicle repaired under warranty. Our client alleges he then discovered the vehicle was NOT a CPO, like he was previously told. Vehicle Code § 11713.18(a)(9) prohibits a dealership from using the term “certified” in a manner that is untrue or misleading. This led our client to reach out to us. In November 2020, we filed a Complaint on behalf of our client. Since then, we have successfully settled our client’s case. If you need our help, call us today so we can help you too!
