TOYOTA DEALERSHIP ALLEGEDLY FAILS TO GIVE SPANISH-LANGUAGE CONTRACT TO DISABLED SPANISH-SPEAKING CUSTOMER, FAILS TO CREDIT CUSTOMER WITH FULL VALUE OF TRADE-IN VEHICLE

Lopez-Cardona v. LHM Corp. dba Larry H. Miller Toyota Corona – Corona (Riverside County)

Our client, a disabled man, speaks Spanish and spoke only Spanish with the sales staff at Larry H. Miller Toyota Corona when he purchased a 2018 Toyota Tundra. However, he allegedly wasn’t given a Spanish-language translation of his sales contract! Also, Larry H. Miller allegedly failed to provide our client with a promised rebate and falsely reported that his trade-in vehicle had no equity when in fact it had a net value of almost $3,800. California law requires that if the sales transaction is negotiated mostly in Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, or Korean and you don’t have an adult come with you to translate, the dealership MUST give you copies of your sales documents in the language that was used. If you negotiated your purchase in one of those languages and didn’t get a translation of the English-language sales documents, please contact david@rbblawgroup.com. Rosner Barry & Babbitt’s Auto Fraud Legal Center will provide you a FREE evaluation of your rights. We are here to help you!
