Thai v Ben Auto Haus
In December 2016 our client went to Ben Auto Haus in Garden Grove in Orange County. He was looking for a quality used car. The dealer showed him a 2014 Lexus GS 350. Our client alleges the Ben Auto Haus salesperson told him that the although the used 2014 Lexus had some scratches on it, that it was in good condition and did not have accident damage. After driving it for a short while, our client thought it was not in not in such good condition as had been represented. Our client alleges he went back to Ben Auto Haus to confirm there was no accident damage. Our client alleges Ben Auto Haus gave him a NMVITS report as “proof” that the 2014 Lexus had not sustained any accident damage. (Unknown to our client, NMVITS reports are not designed for reporting general accident damage.)
Recently, our client brought his GS 350 to a Toyota dealership to inquire about trading it in. Our client alleges the Toyota dealership informed him the 2014 Lexus GS 350 had been reported on Carfax as having structural damage at a time prior to his purchasing it from Ben Auto Haus. That is when our client came to the Auto Fraud Legal Center to see about what rights he has. Our firm is filing suit against Ben Auto Haus for the repurchase of the 2014 Lexus GS 350.
