Still Haven’t Received Your Registration Documents?

Under California law, a car dealer has 30 days from the date of sale to submit registration documents to ensure the vehicle is registered to you after purchase. Failing to do so can lead to many problems for the car owner, who could get ticketed by police, would not be able to report the car stolen, and risk voiding their car insurance policy. We recently filed suit against Auto Gallery in Hayward, in Alameda County, for this exact reason. Auto Gallery failed to register the vehicle to our client after the purchase, putting him in a very vulnerable position. Furthermore, the sales contract that our client signed did not meet the legal requirements for auto sales contracts. If you purchased a car from Auto Gallery and haven’t gotten your registration documents after 4-6 weeks, call us at 858-348-1005 to see if we can help.
