In August 2018, our client purchased a 2013 Scion FR-S from LA Auto Exchange in Los Angeles. Approximately a year after purchasing the Vehicle, the engine failed and needed to be replaced. Our client alleges when he took the Vehicle in for the engine repairs, he was notified the engine VIN did not match the Vehicle’s VIN. We tracked down the prior owner, and she claims she returned it to LA Auto Exchange because of problems with the engine.
