Scala Auto Group Tries to Take Advantage of a Spanish Speaking Family by Selling a Damaged Car.

Scala Auto Group, in Montclair, has been sued for allegedly lying about prior accident and/or frame damage to a Ford Edge sold to a family of hard working Spanish-speakers. These consumers allege they asked the salesman directly if the Ford Edge had been in any accidents, and the salesman lied and said it had been in no accidents. Not only that, Plaintiffs allege they negotiated their entire purchase in Spanish, but Scalia Auto Group did give them a Spanish-language copy of the contract before having them sign the English language contract. That is wrong. The consumers discovered the accident damage, called the Auto Fraud Legal Center, got a free consultation with a Spanish speaking attorney, and now are fighting this dealership and the bank in court because they refused to be cheated.
