Orange Coast Chrysler Jeep RAM Fiat Re-Sold a Consumer’s Vehicle Back to Him?
Our client was looking to upgrade from a 2018 RAM 1500 and came upon a 2019 RAM 3500 for sale at Orange Coast Chrysler Jeep RAM Fiat, and Orange County dealership. Our client traded in his 2018 RAM as part of a downpayment on the 2019 RAM. More than a month after purchase, the dealership allegedly began contacting our client about providing more financial information in order to finance the new vehicle purchase. Eventually, the dealership allegedly told our client it was cancelling the contract. In California, a dealership only has 10 days to cancel a contract for the sale of a vehicle.
Unaware of his rights, our client returned the 2019 RAM to the dealership. However, the dealership did not return his 2018 RAM trade-in. Rather, the dealership sold the 2018 RAM back to our client and allegedly held on to funds that rightfully belong to our client.
The attorneys at Rosner, Barry & Babbitt have filed a lawsuit in the Orange County Superior Court in order to vindicate our client’s consumer rights.
