Melendez v. Southgate Auto, Inc. dba Express Auto Lending – South Gate, Los Angeles County

New case filed. Client purchased a 2015 Toyota Camry XSE Sedan 4D, VIN: 4T1BF1FKFU934284, from Express Auto Lending. Client alleges Express Auto Lending (1) failed to provide Spanish translations of the purchase contract; (2) misrepresented the Camry’s accident history; (3) misrepresented the total sales price for the Camry; (4) Used an NMVTIS History report in a fraudulent and misleading way; (5) failed to properly itemize the payment obligations in the purchase contract; (6) failed to provide the Buy-Here-Pay-Here warranty; and (7) failed to post the fair market value on the Camry. After purchasing the Camry, Express Auto Lending demanded Client pay an additional $304.00 to get the registration and licence plates from Express Auto Lending. There are currently 3 active cases against Express Auto Lending for demanding additional payments like this. The DMV will send the registration and license plates directly to the owner of the vehicle. If your registration and license plates are sent directly to the dealer, be on the look out for fraud.

Lilia Guizar was my attorney in a recent fraud case and I am so impressed with the outcome. The process was quick and easy. We even countered the first offer to get what was fair and I’m happy to say that the car was picked up today, I am free of that burden and I feel validated for all the time and money wasted trusting a dealership that took advantage of me. This legal team is amazing! Yes our case took time but they were always ready to answer any of our questions and we had a lot!
