Litigation Update: Settlement with Downtown Auto Center

We recently negotiated a settlement on behalf of a client with Downtown Auto Center in Oakland, in Alameda County. The client alleged that she was lured into the dealership with the promise that she could purchase a new car at a specific price. However, when she visited the dealership, they added almost $7,000 in optional add-ons to the purchase without her knowledge. After the purchase, she noticed all the add-ons and confronted the dealership, only to be told there was nothing they could do. Of course, there was something they could do, they just weren’t willing to do it until legal action was taken. Downtown Auto Center has agreed to rescind the sale and pay our client’s reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs. Lilia Guizar was my attorney in a recent fraud case and I am so impressed with the outcome. The process was quick and easy. This legal team is amazing! Yes our case took time but they were always ready to answer any of our questions and we had a lot! They helped us every step of the way. nobody really wants to deal with going through all of this but they made the process a lot easier to deal with we can't give them enough praise!!
