Litigation Update: Encinitas Ford
Our case against Encinitas Ford has settled!
The case involved a Certified Pre-Owned (“CPO”) 2014 Ford Explorer. After our client purchased the vehicle, she discovered it had sustained structural damage. It is illegal in California for a dealership to advertise or sell a vehicle as “certified” if it has sustained structural damage or if the damage, even if repaired, substantially impairs the use or safety of the vehicle.
The Auto Fraud Legal Center was able to recover all our client’s money, attorneys’ fees and costs, as well as additional damages to compensate our client for the conduct of Encinitas Ford.
