Hwang v. San Diego Auto Connection

Our client purchased a used 2015 Ford Mustang from San Diego Auto Connection in San Diego, California. Before he purchased the car, our client asked his salesperson if it had ever been in any accidents. The dealership told him it had not, so he decided to purchase the car. However, when our client tried to trade in the car to another dealer, he found it had been damaged in an accident. Our client turned to the Auto Fraud Legal Center for help. We filed a lawsuit on his behalf in the San Diego County Superior Court, which alleged that the dealership committed fraud and violated other California consumer protection statutes in the sale of the vehicle. The case settled when the dealer agreed to pay our client for the diminished value of the vehicle and his attorney’s fees and costs.
