HOW LONG DO YOU HAVE TO WAIT TO GET AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE YOUR MOTOR HOME OR TRAILER REPAIRED?

It doesn’t seem to matter. Whether you own a Jayco, Winnebago, Forest River, Grand Design, Pacific Coach Works, Heartland, or even Thor, it’s nearly impossible to get your recreational vehicle in for repairs. Once you do, it will take weeks, if not months, to get it repaired. This is in part because dealerships, such as Giant RV, La Mesa RV, Richardson’s RV, Mike Thompson’s RV, DD’s RV, and Camping World, are not equipped to timely complete repairs to motor homes and 5th wheels.

California law requires warranty repairs to be completed with thirty (30) days. (See, Civil Code § 1793.2(b).) This is commonly referred to as the Thirty Day Rule and is part of the California lemon law.

Not every lemon law firm is equipped to handle a motor home lemon law claim. Motor homes, 5th wheels and travel trailers are unique under California law. The Lemon Law Department at Rosner, Barry and Babbitt’s Auto Fraud Legal Center is equipped to help you! Contact Jeff Le Pere to address any potential lemon law claim involving your motor home, 5th wheel, travel trailer, or toy hauler. jeff@rbblawgroup.com
