HONDA CIVIC and HONDA CR-V
Do you own a 2016-2018 Honda Civic or 2017-2018 Honda CR-V that is equipped with 1.5-liter Earth Dreams turbocharged engine? You may be driving a lemon. The Lemon Law Department at the Auto Fraud Legal Center is hearing vehicles are not fit to drive because their engines have defects. The defects allegedly cause a buildup of non-combusted fuel within the oil systems, diluting the engine oil and causing it to lose the ability to lubricate the systems. Then the oil doesn’t properly coat the bearing surfaces and allows contact between the connecting rods and the connecting rod bearings. The defect damages internal engine components. To add insult to injury, Honda has reportedly asked owners to pay thousands of dollars for repairs.
Even during the Coronavirus epidemic, the Auto Fraud Legal Center is here to help you. California’s lemon law is designed to protect consumers by requiring car companies to repurchase or replace vehicles that suffer from warranty defects that cannot be fixed in a reasonable number of attempts – usually as low as 2 repair attempts. If you think your Honda vehicle may be a lemon, you may be entitled to get your money back and it won’t cost you anything as all your attorney’s fees and costs will be paid by the car manufacturer.
