HEAVY-DUTY VEHICLE NOT PASSING SMOG AND UNABLE TO BE REGISTERED – REPURCHASED BY DEALER THANKS TO AUTO FRAUD LEGAL CENTER!
Whiting v. T & K Auto, Inc, v. Justbettercars.com – Roseville (Placer County)
Our client bought a 2004 Ford F450 Superduty diesel truck in May 2019. Unfortunately, Justbettercars.com allegedly didn’t inform our client that the Ford truck was subject to the California Air Resources Board’s “Truck and Bus Regulation” which governs heavy diesel vehicles. Under the Truck and Bus Regulation, the 2004 Ford F450 was required to have a newer, cleaner diesel engine installed by 2020 – and because our client wasn’t informed of the deadlines for complying with the Truck and Bus Regulation, he was unable to renew his registration and couldn’t afford the cost of a replacement engine. After Rosner Barry & Babbitt took his case and filed suit, the dealership agreed to take back the 2004 Ford, refund 100% of our client’s money, and pay his attorney’s fees! If you’ve been sold a vehicle that can’t pass a smog check and your registration has been held up as a result, please contact david@rbblawgroup.com. Rosner Barry & Babbitt’s Auto Fraud Legal Center will provide you a FREE evaluation of your rights. We are here to help you!
