Did you purchase a vehicle from DriveTime ?

DriveTime is one of the nation’s largest buy-here, pay-here dealerships. With 8 locations in California, including Riverside, San Diego, Montclair, Downey, and West Covina, DriveTime sells vehicles to numerous California consumers each year. As a buy-here, pay-here dealership, DriveTime is required by law to offer warranties on certain vehicle components. It must also post the fair market value of a vehicle so that its consumers know how the sale price compares to the fair market price. Rosner Barry & Babbitt, LLP was recently retained to help a consumer who purchased a 2007 Toyota Tundra from DriveTime Riverside. DriveTime failed to tell him the fair market value of the vehicle, and did not provide a warranty on all of the components required by law. When the vehicle broke down, DriveTime refused to cover the repairs.

If you purchased a vehicle from DriveTime or another buy-here-pay-here dealership, and don’t think you received the required information, or are experiencing mechanical problems with a vehicle you purchased from a buy-here-pay-here dealer such as DriveTime, please contact lacee@rbblawgroup.com or call Rosner, Barry & Babbitt, LLP, for a free case evaluation.
