DID DEALER FORGE CLIENT’S SIGNATURE ON A SECOND LEASE TO CAUSE CLIENT’S PAYMENTS TO GO UP?
Awbrey v. J K Commerce Inc. dba Boardwalk Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram – Redwood City (San Mateo)
Our client leased a new 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Boardwalk Chrysler, and signed a lease agreement with a certain monthly payment and penalty for excess mileage. When he started getting his bills from Chrysler Capital, he was being charged more than the amount on his lease. He had Chrysler Capital send him a copy of the lease agreement it had on file – and learned that his signature had been forged on a second lease that charged him a higher monthly payment with double the excess-mileage charge. If you think a dealership has forged your signature on contracts and you end up paying more than what you agreed to, please contact david@rbblawgroup.com.
