DEALER REPRESENTS WARRANTY WHICH TURNS OUT TO BE USELESS

In September 2019 our client went to Ben Auto Haus in Garden Grove in Orange County wanting to purchase a quality used car. The dealer showed her a 2016 Lexus RX350. Our client alleges that Ben Auto Haus told her the Lexus RX350 was still covered by the remainder of Lexus’ factory warranty and that it had never been in any accidents. After the purchase, our client experienced problems with the vehicle and took it an authorized Lexus repair facility. There she was told the Vehicle had been in a prior accident. The back hatch was not the original and had been changed and repainted. Additionally, the Lexus dealership informed her that the back bumper had been replaced with an aftermarket bumper. Because of this accident damage, Lexus refused to repair her 2016 Lexus RX350 under Lexus’s warranty.
Our complaint alleges Ben Auto Haus also violated various California laws in the sale of the RX350 by, among others, failing to post a Buyers Guide, failing to disclose the deferred down payment on the sale contact, and overcharging for license fees.
Additionally, although the negotiations were conducted entirely in Vietnamese, our complaint alleges that our client was not provided with a copy of the sale contract in Vietnamese, nor was there a Buyers Guide in Vietnamese as required by law.

This legal team is amazing! Yes our case took time but they were always ready to answer any of our questions and we had a lot!
