Dealer Allegedly Lied About Vehicle’s Maintenance And Accident History

Our client went to West Coast Motorcars, located in San Marcos, in San Diego County, after seeing an advertisement for a 2009 BMW 7 series. The advertisement described the vehicle as “immaculate,” “great condition inside-out,” “no known deficiencies,” “very well maintained and serviced regularly,” “runs and drives just perfect.” Our client asked further questions about the vehicle, including whether it had ever been in an accident. After being assured of the vehicle’s clean history, our client bought the vehicle based on the dealer’s representations.

After purchase, the vehicle started to misfire and warnings on the dashboard illuminated. He brought the vehicle to a mechanic, who pointed out numerous issues with the vehicle’s condition and maintenance.
