Costa Mesa Dealer Leased a Vehicle Above the Advertised Price
Our client leased a 2019 Cadillac XT5 from Suburban Buick GMC Cadillac, a Costa Mesa dealership in Orange County. Our client was turning a vehicle in and looking to purchase a new vehicle. The dealer’s salesperson allegedly told our client that there were good deals on former loaner vehicles. After a test drive, our client decided to lease a 2019 Cadillac XT5, with rebates included.
However, when our client got home, she looked up the vehicle and noticed it had been advertised at a lower price. Our client called the salesperson, who allegedly told our client she did not qualify for the rebates that lead to the lower price.
A dealership must sell a vehicle at the advertised price, exclusive of taxes and government fees.
Our firm was there to give our client a full analysis of her rights. Rosner, Barry & Babbitt soon filed a lawsuit against Suburban Buick GMC Cadillac.
If a dealership charged above the advertised price on a vehicle you purchased, Rosner, Barry & Babbitt can help. You can contact Jason Stones at (858) 348-1005, or email jason@rbblawgroup.com.
