Our client bought a Chrysler PT Cruiser from Cabo Motors, a “buy here pay here” dealership in Chula Vista. Cabo Motors’ staff allegedly concealed from her that the vehicle was a prior rental vehicle, and posted no signs or stickers that stated the vehicle was a prior rental. California law requires prior-rental vehicles to be labeled as such in all advertising – such as the Buyers Guide posted on used vehicles. Our client recently settled her case at mediation.
