ARMENTA v. YOSEMITE MOTORS

In a case alleging dealer fraud against Yosemite Motors in the City of Manteca the consumer alleged that she was overcharged for her license fees, that the dealer failed to properly disclose her down payment and trade-in vehicle on her purchase contract. Additionally the consumer alleged that the used car dealership failed to post a legally required Buyer’s Guide on the vehicle. The consumer further alleged that Yosemite Motors sold her a car that would not have passed smog and sold the car with an existing engine leak and nails in the tires. Plaintiff is requiring an injunction against Yosemite Motors to prevent such illegal, fraudulent and predatory acts from happening to other consumers.
