Alvarez v. Lucky Strike Motoring dba Autoworkz Ltd.

Plaintiff alleges Autoworkz Ltd., located in Burbank, California, sold her a 2007 Volvo C70 for more than the advertised price. She also alleges the vehicle was delivered with a malfunctioning transmission. When Plaintiff experienced transmission problems, she brought it in to Autoworkz to fix. She alleges Autoworkz told her they would fix it, but in reality they never did. Plaintiff’s car caught on fire, believed to be because of the faulty and unrepaired transmission, putting her life and safety, and the safety of others, in danger.
