Alexander v. Mecum Auction Inc., et al. – Los Angeles

Case involving a fake 1959 Volkswagen 23-Window Samba which was sold at auction by Mecum Auction has settled. The settlement required Mecum Auctions to refund the $150,000 purchase price. Mecum Auctions was also required to refund the cost of an annual membership, guest pass for the February 2018 auction, and multiple tow truck expenses. Mecum Auctions and Villa Trade, LLC also paid Mr. Alexander’s legal expenses as part of the settlement.
