A Vehicle’s Rental History Must Be Disclosed

Our client went to Hawthorne Auto Square, located in the City of Hawthorne, Los Angeles County, to find a reliable and fun vehicle. The salesperson directed him to a 2016 Dodge Charger and told him it was in great condition. Our client noticed a small ding in the bumper, which the salesperson promised would be fixed before delivery. When our client picked up the car, he discovered that Hawthorne Auto Square had botched the fix, smearing paint all over the bumper. Hawthorne Auto Square said it was his problem now. After contacting Rosner, Barry & Babbitt, our attorneys discovered the vehicle was previously used as a rental vehicle and had been the subject of theft. Rental history must be disclosed to the consumer.

If you bought a car and think you were cheated, or weren’t told that your used car was previously a rental car, please contact jason@rbblawgroup.com. Rosner, Barry & Babbitt’s Auto Fraud Legal Center will provide you with a FREE evaluation of your rights.
