Dealership Sells Vehicle Without Smog

Our client found a 2011 Nissan Maxima for sale on the lot of American Import Auto Group, located in Oceanside, in the County of San Diego. Part of the contract included a charge for Smog testing. However, Ms. Proulx alleges that the car never passed a smog test before purchase, in violation of the California Vehicle Code. Furthermore, our client later discovered that the car had also allegedly sustained damage in an accident American Import Auto Group didn’t tell her about.
