Beware of So-Called “Certified” Vehicles

Rosner Barry & Babbitt represented a client who purchased a certified 2015 Mercedes-Benz C300 from Mercedes-Benz of Encino. To the consumer’s surprise, the “certified” vehicle had been in an accident prior to his purchase and had been repaired with aftermarket parts. The consumer alleged Mercedes-Benz of Encino did not disclose this accident history to him. With our firm’s help, Mercedes-Benz of Encino bought back the vehicle. The consumer got back all of his out-of-pocket expenses plus an additional $10,000.
