FORD ENERGI HAD NO ENERGY
On November 30, 2017, our client purchased a new 2018 Ford Fusion Energi from AutoNation Ford Tustin. The Vehicle was sold to our client with an accompanying three (3) year/36,000-mile basic warranty; five (5) year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty and a Hybrid / Electrical Unique Component eight (8) year/100,000 warranty. Our client’s lawsuit against Ford Motor Company alleges that defective hybrid/electrical components prevented the proper charging of the 2018 Ford Fusion Energi and that its dashboard was defective. Our client took the Vehicle to Ford’s authorized repair facility for repair of these defects on multiple occasions and Ford failed to repair the defects. Our office sued Ford in Orange County Superior Court and forced Ford to buy-back our client’s 2018 Ford Fusion Energi.
