Our client purchased a certified pre-owned Volkswagen Passat that started overheating within a few months of the sale. Even after repairs were completed at an authorized Volkswagen dealership, the car continued to overheat. Volkswagen acknowledged the problems and agreed to make additional repairs, but parts have not been available for the repairs. Consequently, our client’s vehicle has been sitting at a Volkswagen service center, undriveable, for almost a full year.
