Orange Coast Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat (Orange Coast CJDRF)
– Our client purchased a 2014 Tesla Model S from Orange Coast CJDRF in the City of Costa Mesa, in Orange County. The vehicle was sold with a 3 month or 3,000 mile Dealership Limited Powertrain Warranty.
Our client took the Vehicle back to Orange Coast CJDRF approximately a week after purchase to have some repairs done under the Warranty. He alleges Orange Coast CJDRF refused to repair the Vehicle under its warranty. He alleges he was told the warranty does not cover Tesla Model vehicles. If true, this is directly in violation of the Song-Beverly Warranty Act because Orange Coast CJDRF did not comply with its obligations under its written warranty. Our client contends Orange Coast CJDRF lied to him, at the time of sale, by telling him the Vehicle was covered under the Dealership’s warranty.
