Litigation Update: Marino/Lee v. Volkswagen Group of America

Our clients allege they purchased a defective Volkswagen CC from Riverside Volkswagen that lost power while they were driving on the freeway, causing them to spin out and nearly killing them. Our clients allege that Volkswagen Group of America was aware of this defect in its Volkswagen CCs, but sold them to unsuspecting consumers anyway. On October 16, 2019, the Superior Court ordered Volkswagen Group of America to produce documents that could show deep internal fraud within the Volkswagen organization. Will this be the sequel to Volkswagen’s emissions scandal? We’ll know soon enough.
