SPEED AUTO GALLERY SELLS UNDISCLOSED TOTAL-LOSS SALVAGE VEHICLE

Rubio-Virgen v. Nekzad Auto, Inc. dba Speed Auto Gallery – La Mesa (San Diego County)

Our client bought a 2014 Honda Accord from Speed Auto Gallery and allegesthe Speed Auto Gallery staff claimed the vehicle had a clean title and had been in an accident, but wouldn’t provide a vehicle history report. When Mr. Rubio-Virgen tried to trade in the vehicle at a different dealership, he learned that the vehicle had been previously reported as a total loss by an insurance company – which means that the vehicle was SALVAGE. Speed Auto Gallery did not disclose to our client that the vehicle had been reported as a total loss and didn’t notify the DMV either, which meant that the vehicle’s title had not been branded. If you purchased a vehicle that was reported as a total loss but the dealership didn’t post signs or stickers warning that the vehicle was a salvage vehicle, please contact david@rbblawgroup.com.
