Our client purchased a new 2019 Subaru WRX from Timmons Volkswagen of Long Beach in Long Beach, California. A few months after purchase, our client noticed the vehicle’s paint began flaking off and spotting in certain spots. Our client alleges Timmons Volkswagen took the vehicle to a body shop for an inspection. The body shop advisor confirmed the vehicle needs to be repainted due to a defective paint job. However, our client alleges, Timmons Volkswagen denied the repair under warranty. Now our client is stuck with a vehicle with a defective paint job.
