Sanchez v General Motors

GENERAL MOTORS ROLLS OUT ANOTHER LEMON

Do you have problems with your General Motors’ car, truck or SUV? Our client was sold a GM car that we allege to be a “lemon.”

In 2016, he purchased a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu with 222 miles on it from Rotolo Chevrolet, located in the city of Fontana, in San Bernardino county. The 2016 Malibu was sold to him as an “Unregistered Factory Executive Vehicle” with an accompanying factory warranty. Our client alleges that at approximately 823 miles, the Check Engine Light lit up the Chevy Malibu’s dash board. Thereafter, he alleges the 2016 Chevy was subject to recalls relating to defects with the Stop/Start Indicator Lamp and Battery Monitor Module Timer. Later our client alleges his 2016 Chevy Malibu was subject to a service campaign for a Stochastic Pre-Ignition (SPI) causing cracked pistons. Our client’s service records indicate further illuminations of the check engine and other dashboard warning lights along with the accompanying loss of power and hesitation. General Motors repair facilities attempted repeated repairs on the Malibu, but to no avail. Our client’s 2016 Chevrolet Malibu was not properly fixed. On one repair alone, it was in the shop for almost a full month. Our client contacted GM and asked General Motors to buy back the Chevy lemon, and refund his money. GM refused to take back the defect-plagued 2016 Chevrolet, refused to label it a lemon, and refused to refund our client’s money. Unable to get any satisfaction from GM, he contacted the attorneys at the Auto Fraud Legal Center. The lemon law firm of Rosner, Barry and Babbitt is filing a lawsuit to force General Motors to repurchase his defective 2016 Chevrolet Malibu, refund his money, pay off his car loan, and pay the attorneys’ fees and costs involved.

The goal of Rosner, Barry & Babbitt when it comes to automobile “Lemons” is to get you out of your car, truck, van or SUV, get your money back, have your loan paid off and have the warrantor pay the attorneys’ fees and costs.
