Orange County Dealership—Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel—Lied About Vehicle CPO Label?

Our clients saw a 2015 Mercedes-Benz S550V advertised by Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. Our client went to the dealership and ended up purchasing the vehicle. However, our clients experienced issues with the vehicle and returned to Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel for warranty repairs. The dealership allegedly told them that the CPO warranty was not yet in effect. That is when our clients thought something was suspicious.

They contacted Auto Fraud Legal Center, and we researched our clients’ vehicle purchase. Our clients allege Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel advertised and sold the vehicle as “certified” even though no certification took place. California law prohibits a dealership from lying about a vehicle’s certification.

The attorneys at Rosner, Barry & Babbitt specialize in dealer fraud and deceptive business practices and have filed a lawsuit in the Orange County Superior Court in order to recover all of our clients’ money.
