Non-CPO Sold As CPO – Gara v. South Bay N Properties LLC, et al.
In the case of Gara v. South Bay N Properties LLC, the Garas allege Nissan of South Bay sold them a used 2014 Nissan Frontier as a Nissan “Certified Pre-Owned.” They allege that when the vehicle became inoperable, they contacted Nissan North America, which informed the Garas the vehicle’s warranty had expired and it was not a Nissan “Certified Pre-Owned” vehicle.
