MERCEDES “CERTIFIES” A DAMAGED LEMON
Does it seem right to you that a “Certified” Mercedes-Benz should be sold with undisclosed accident damage and a gas tank that won’t fill? It doesn’t seem right to us either.
In November 2018 our client purchased a 2015 Mercedes-Benz S550 from Fletcher Jones Motor Cars in Newport Beach, Orange County, California. The Mercedes S550 was represented and sold as certified and having passed a 165 point certification inspection.
Our client alleges the 2015 Mercedes-Benz was sold to him with undisclosed pre-existing accident damage. Our client also alleges the S550 has had and on-going exhaust issue which Mercedes-Benz has been unable to fix. In addition, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S550 from Fletcher Jones Motor Cars has a defective gas tank preventing it from being able to fill completely. The gas tank has even been replaced. It did not fix the problem.
Our client tried dealing with Mercedes himself to have his Mercedes S550 bought back. Mercedes-Benz refused. That’s when he turned to Rosner, Barry & Babbitt, the Auto Fraud Legal Center for help. We will be filing a lawsuit on our client’s behalf.
