McKnight v. Mossy Automotive Group Lemon Grove

Our client purchased a 2012 Hyundai Veloster from Mossy Honda Lemon Grove in San Diego County. The vehicle was accompanied by a 90-day warranty from Mossy. Within the warranty period, our client started having problems with the vehicle. He gave Mossy multiple opportunities to fix the vehicle, but it remained defective. Mossy refused to complete further repairs. Our client called the Auto Fraud Legal Center for help. We filed a lawsuit on his behalf in the San Diego County Superior Court, which alleged violations of the federal odometer law, fraud, and breach of warranty. The lawsuit settled when Mossy agreed to repurchase the vehicle and pay our client’s attorneys’ fees and costs.
