Max Auto Sales Allegedly Sells Car With Illegally Modified Emission System.
Max Auto Sales, located in Pacoima in Los Angeles County, sold two consumers a 2008 Toyota Tundra. The problem is the truck’s catalytic converter allegedly was bad and needed to be replaced and the exhaust system had been modified. On top of that, the dealer allegedly still hasn’t delivered title and registration to these consumers despite having sold the truck to them over a year ago. Max Auto Sales allegedly also had these consumers sign a side contract for the down payment that charged 21% interest for each additional day the down payment was past due. These Spanish-speaking consumers called the Auto Fraud Legal Center, got a free consultation, and are taking this dealer to court.
