Los Angeles Dealership Sold Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle With Frame Damage

Kia claims that every Kia vehicle that is a Certified Pre-Owned has undergone a thorough 164-point inspection, which reviews every aspect of a vehicle, and that “[b]y purchasing a Kia Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, you can be assured that you are investing in a quality product[.]”

Our client alleges that his 2013 Kia Optima, purchased at Kia of Valencia, part of the Keyes group of dealerships, located in Los Angeles, was involved in a serious accident that caused frame damage before being marketed and sold as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. In California, a vehicle with frame damage cannot qualify as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle.
