Legardye v. Hyundai Motor America

Our client leased a 2017 Hyundai IONIQ Electric from South Bay Hyundai in Torrance, California. As part of the lease, she enrolled in the IONIQ Unlimited+ Subscription Program. When the vehicle needed its 5,000-mile regular maintenance, our client attempted to have the vehicle serviced at four different Hyundai dealerships. All refused. In a lawsuit filed in Orange County on behalf of herself and other similarly situated consumers, our client alleges Hyundai violated the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, the lemon law, by refusing to service the vehicle under warranty and failing to have sufficient repair facilities in the state.

If you leased a Hyundai IONIQ vehicle and enrolled in the IONIQ Unlimited+ Subscription Program on or after January 1, 2017, please contact Lacee B. Smith, lacee@rbblawgroup.com, for a free consultation to determine if our firm can assist you.
