Is Your Certified Pre-Owned (“CPO”) Vehicle Less Than Stellar?

Certified Pre-Owned (“CPO”) vehicles are used cars that have allegedly gone through rigorous, manufacturer-approved inspections by authorized dealerships. They’re supposed to be the next best thing to buying new. The programs are often advertising propaganda and not really designed to make sure you are buying a safe vehicle. A consumer might buy a CPO vehicle only to find the vehicle is having mechanical issues, or that it had previously been in an accident and there was structural damage! It is illegal to certify a vehicle with structural damage in California. If you purchased a CPO vehicle and something just doesn’t feel right, you may have a CPO that wasn’t thoroughly inspected or certified properly. Please contact tsolik@rbblawgroup.com.
