Hassett v. Audi Oakland

Arbitration against an Audi dealer who leased a 2015 A8 TDI and 2015 Q7 TDI vehicles to Mr. Hassett. The sole complaint was that the Vehicles were part of the Volkswagen emissions defeat device scandal. The Arbitrator found a breach of the Implied Warranty of Merchantability and violation of the Consumers Legal Remedies Act. Mr. Hassett was awarded a full refund of all money paid and due under the lease agreements ($51,643.64 for the Q7 and $63,841.62 for the A8) + stipulated prejudgment interest of $21,150.00.
