Griffin v. Drivetime Car Sales Company, LLC
Our client purchased a used 2013 Nissan Sentra from Drivetime in Riverside, California. Within the first thirty-days that our client owned the vehicle, it started having mechanical troubles with its engine and transmission. Our client gave Drivetime several opportunities to repair the vehicle, but Drivetime was unable or unwilling fully fix the problems with the vehicle. So she turned to the Auto Fraud Legal Center for help. We filed a lawsuit in Riverside County Superior Court, alleging Drivetime breached the vehicle’s warranty by failing to fix the mechanical problems, and that the vehicle was a “lemon.” Drivetime agreed to repurchase the vehicle and pay our client’s attorney’s fees and costs.
Did you purchase a vehicle with a warranty and the dealership has been unable to fix it? You might qualify for a repurchase or replacement of the vehicle under California’s “lemon” law. Call the Auto Fraud Legal Center for a FREE consultation and evaluation of your rights!
