Gamble v Major Motor Cars
In September 2017 our client went to Major Motors in Santa Monica in Los Angeles County looking to purchase a BMW. The Major Motors salesperson showed our client a 2014 BMW 4 Series automobile. Our client alleges she was told the 2014 BMW was a great car and handled well. She also alleges that no disclosure about prior accident damage was made to her. Our client further alleges she was told that an “extended warranty” came with the BMW 4 Series. However, she also alleges that she later discovered that, without her permission, she was charged for this “warranty.”
Additionally, our client alleges she later discovered that her 2014 BMW 4 Series had been in a previous accident. She alleges she was told by a repair shop that fender/bumper was replaced, that it looked it had bolts in it that looked like they came from “home depot,” which were also put in wrong and were stripped. She alleges the repairs shop also stated these same bolts were used on the radiator. Our client alleges that when she confronted Major Motors, they offered to repair the BMW, but only if she signed a release of all her legal claims. Our client came to the law firm of Rosner, Barry and Babbitt for help.
