FORGED CONTRACT?

On October 10, 2021, our clients purchased a 2021 Chevy Silverado from Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove. Weeks later they were told they would need a co-signer and were required to sign a second contract. Our clients allege Simpson Chevrolet, among other misrepresentations, misled our clients by telling them the co-signer could be removed from the contract after it was executed. Based on representations by Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove, our clients (with a relative as a cosigner) signed the second contract for the 2021 Chevy Silverado. Despite repeated calls to Simpson Chevrolet asking to whom they should make their payments, Simpson Chevrolet refused to answer. Weeks later, a lender our clients never heard of told them they were behind on payments. Our clients further allege that, when following up, our clients discovered Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove had forged an entirely new (third) contract and in the name of only one of our clients, (with vastly different terms) and submitted it to the lender. Our clients allege, among other matters, Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove violated the law by: forging our client’s initials and signatures on a contract; submitting a falsified contract to the lender; misrepresenting the prior use and history of the Vehicle; misrepresenting the rights, remedies, or obligations involved in the sale and financing of the Vehicle and wrongfully possessing and/or selling our clients’ trade-in vehicle. Rosner, Barry & Babbitt is filing suit in Orange County for various damages against Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove and the lender.

Lilia Guizar was my attorney in a recent fraud case and I am so impressed with the outcome. The process was quick and easy. This legal team is amazing! Yes our case took time but they were always ready to answer any of our questions and we had a lot! They helped us every step of the way. nobody really wants to deal with going through all of this but they made the process a lot easier to deal with we can't give them enough praise!!
