Ford Motor Company Sued

Auto Fraud Legal Center has filed another lawsuit against Ford Motor Company in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Our client’s Ford Focus equipped with the Dual Power Shift 6 Speed (DPS6) transmission hesitated upon acceleration, jerked, and felt unsafe to drive. Ford Motor Company has consistently told customers that these conditions are “normal.” This includes publishing a document entitled “Operating Characteristics” in September 2012. Ford intended this document to “improve customer expectations and experiences.” This is clearly a misnomer. We understand that Ford published this document to lower customers’ expectations after the vehicle has already been sold.
