Clients Bought Defective Car in Fresno and Service Contract Company Denied Repairs

Our clients purchased a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan from Paris Motorz, located in Pinedale, in the City of Fresno. Paris Motorz sold our clients a service contract with the car, sometimes improperly called an “extended warranty,” for almost $2,000, with the promise that anything that might go wrong with the car would be covered.

Soon after purchase the problems began: the car stalled, leaked fuel and other fluids, wouldn’t start, and required a replacement transmission. The service contract company, SouthwestRe, denied much of the expense of repairs, which amounted to more than $8,000.

Rosner, Barry & Babbitt are now representing these victims of fraud to ensure they are compensated.
