“CERTIFIED” HONDA SOLD WITH DAMAGE?

McLean v. Sonic-Buena Park H, Inc. dba Buena Park Honda – Buena Park (Orange County)
Our clients allege that in April 2021, they saw a 2019 Honda Pilot advertised on Buena Park Honda’s website as “Honda Certified.” When they arrived at Buena Park Honda, they were told the 2019 Honda was not “certified” and were not given any pre-sale certification inspection reports showing which components had been inspected prior to sale, and were also told that the 2019 Honda had not been in any accidents or crashes. Because of concerns about exposure to COVID-19 from traveling from dealership to dealership, our clients gave in and purchased the 2019 Pilot. Shortly after purchase, the Honda’s check-engine light allegedly lit up, and a different Honda dealership found that the cause was a fuel-filler neck damaged in an earlier accident. If a dealership sold you a vehicle as “certified” with concealed accident damage, please contact david@rbblawgroup.com.
